  16. 2017 JSI Life Jacket Wear Rates • 2017 JSI Report finalized soon • Adult wear rate on open motorboats up to 7.0% fm 5.7% (4.5% baseline in 2006) • Overall wear rate for all boaters up to 20.7% fm 18.6% (without including PWCs) • Adult boater wear rate up to 11.9% fm 9.9% • Youth wear rate up to 71.9% fm 68.4% • All four measures are the highest in 19 years • Twenty-nine states and twelve years of data
