Broering, MLS, MA, FACMIDean of Libraries, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Health Information Literacy Instruction is provided to MSTOM, Massage Therapy & DAOM Doctoral students enrolled in Clinical Research & Design, Pathophysiology, Preclinical Internship & Doctoral Research Studies at the College each semester as part of the educational curriculum.

Pacific College of Oriental Medicine conducts Free workshops & computer instructional presentations on access to reliable Consumer Health Information throughout San Diego . The MedlinePlus and Pub Med from the National Library of Medicine, NIH are the basis for the instruction. Workshops are held at local public libraries, churches and community centers. AARP, KPBS and TV Channel 6 have featured some demonstrations and interviews to reach over 5,000 residents.
