IDEM Update Reducing Toxics in Indiana Grant Pollution Prevention Definition Staff Changes TRI press release 2010 Governor’s Awards Tier II reporting
Reducing Toxics in Indiana Grant OPPTA received a $160,000 EPA grant to focus on reducing toxics in Indiana. We will be looking at specific toxics on the Resource Conservation Challenge Priority chemical list and working with facilities through Pollution Prevention Opportunity Assessments to identify projects. Facilities with projects that focus on reducing these toxics will then be able to apply for Pollution Prevention grants in August 2010.
Pollution Prevention Pollution prevention is the reduction or elimination of pollution at the source (source reduction) instead of at the end-of-the-pipe or stack.
