  2. Facts • Las Vegas is a city in Nevada. • It is one of the most popular places in Nevada for tourist. • Las Vegas has a population of 478,434 people. • The land area of Las Vegas is 121 sq. mi.

  3. Bodies of Water • There is one major lake in Las Vegas. It is known as Lake Mead. Lake Mead flows into the Colorado River. It extends over 112 miles and holds approximately 28,500,000 acre feet of water.
