Agile Nation – Gender Equality in Employment – The Delivery • Women • Progression in to better Jobs • Employment with progressive and supportive employers • Educators & Advisors Develop and deliver educational modules on: • Gender • Flexible working • Work life balance These will be delivered to: • Early years educators • Business studies • PGCE • etc Employers Flexible working practices Work life balance Quality part time jobs

Sector skills Councils Working together to develop strategies Sector Skills agreements Research Four major research projects Undertake longitudinal tracking Trans-National Partnerships Develop partnerships within the EU Discuss and develop parallel policies and practices Agile Nation – Gender Equality in Employment – Strategy

  5. What’s on offer now? Open the Doors to a More Diverse Workforce - Aone day course aimed at increasing your knowledge of up to date equality and diversity issues & flexible working patterns 25th June - Colwyn Bay 8th October – venue TBC

  6. Ascent programme Level 2 ILM award in Team leading Designed to develop a range of key team leading skills, explore personal development for practicing or potential team leaders. Additional modules: Managing Worklife balance and flexible working Managing Equality and diversity Commencing September 2009 – run over 6 days (dates TBC)

  7. Future ‘Ascent’ training – development phase Level 3 Certificate or diploma in first line management Level 3 NVQ in management Level 4 award in Management Personal training bursary
