  2. The development of English communication skills in a kid takes a lot of practice. Oral and written progress become evident.

  3. Breakdown of Components In providing primary English tuition for the student, a breakdown is followed for the PSLE English paper. Out of 200 points, 95 points or 48% goes to Paper 2. This tackles comprehension and grammar among others. Composition comprises 20% or 40 points. Conversation that is based on oral and stimulus has 15% or 30 points. For 20 points or 10%, listening comprehension has its share. As for situational writing, it has 15 points or 8%.

  4. P3 Unpack This English class in Singapore allows the main components of the language to be broken down. Kids in upper primary focus on oral and composition. Keywords are identified, comprehension is developed, and different kinds of questions are recognised. Learning new words is enhanced with spelling. They also learn to understand figurative language.
