Calcutta Heart research Centre for X-ray Services
X-Ray is a type of radiation called electromagnetic waves. X-ray imaging helps to create images of the internal organs. The images show the parts of the internal organs as in different shades of black and white. This is because different tissues absorb different amounts of radiation. Unlike light, X-rays have higher energy and can pass through most objects including the body. If x-rays travelling through the body also pass through an x-ray detector on the other side of the patient, an image will be formed that represents the shadows formed by the objects inside the body. Visit the Calcutta Heart Research Centre, one of the leading x-ray medical centre In Kolkata.
