  3. About The Founder of Modern School was LalaRaghubir Singh. He started Modern School in 1920 in a Haveli located in Daryaganj, Delhi which belonged to his father, Sultan Singh.   7. School Activity- Yellow colour day “Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do. Grandparents are sort of sprinkle star dust over the lives of little children.” To show how much we love and care for our elders, students of Grades Nursery and Kindergarten celebrated Grandparents Day with full zeal and zest. Students came dressed in colourful attire which filled whole ambience with vibrancy. The programme commenced with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra recited by tiny tots which spoke of the values they have imbibed . It was followed by the heart winning performance by the students which was applauded by everyone present. A small skit presented to showcase the relationship between grandparents and grand children stole the show. Games stalls and singing session witnessed whole hearted participation from grandparents. Later there was a story session conducted by the grandparents in the classrooms which was thoroughly enjoyed . Last but not the least thoughts shared by the Principal were really appreciated by all. https://modernschoolfbd.com/
