The Use of Yelp • It is a website for Business Owners/Managers to get new employees • Has Ads for employees and interviewees to see so that they can find jobs around their areas • Owners/Managers can contact interviewees and people looking for jobs • Great for contacting people about businesses • Also, you can write reviews, message, and even talk, which is like messaging.
Uniqueness of Yelp The only unique thing about Yelp that differs from other social networking is that it is a site that is based on finding employment. Although on Facebook and twitter you can contact other people. Yelp is strictly for advertising you businesses so others (unemployed) can find jobs close to them. Like I said in the last slide though, you can message, review, and talk to people and find businesses that are suitable for your satisfaction. It is a great social media and amazing for networking. Through Yelp you can meet so many Business owners and Managers which betters your chances for your career. Also, you can get friends which is also another way in bettering your future for obtaining that “dream job”
