Grad Requirements Class of 2014 • English - 40 credits • World Civilization – 10 credits • US History – 10 credits • American Gov/Econ – 10 credits • Mathematics – 20 credits • Physical Science – 10 credits • Life Science – 10 credits • Physical Education – 20 credits • Health – 5 credits • Fine Arts/Foreign lang. – 10 credits • Electives – 70 credits • TOTAL CREDITS = 215 • Must Pass Algebra 1 • Must Pass CAHSEE (ELA/Math)

A: History - 2 years 1 yr World &1 yr U.S. OR 1 yr World & ½ yr U.S. & ½ Gov/Econ B: English – 4 years C: Math - 3 years to include: Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 *4 years recommended D: Science - 2 years lab science: Biology and Chemistry or Physics *4 years recommended E: Foreign Language - 2 years same foreign language *3 years recommended F: Fine Art - 1 year Fine Art (Ceramics, Draw/Paint, AP Art History, Choir, Theater Arts) G: Elective - 1 year(Adv.   6. Transcripts • Request Official Transcripts through Mrs. Franco in Main Office • Get Transcript Request form in the Main Office • Final Transcripts MUST be requested by completing the Transcript Request form • ALL COLLEGES REQUIRE A FINAL TRANSCRIPT! • Deadline to send transcript is June 12.

Financial Aid • Cal Grant Verification GPA Form: Done by PHS • Free Application for Federal Student Aid: Apply online @ www.fafsa.ed.gov • Apply for PIN Now: student and parent must apply @ www.pin.ed.gov Deadline for FAFSA is: • March 2nd for 4 yr colleges • September 1st for community colleges • FAFSA workshop in the Library TBA (Jan & Feb) • CSS Profile – required for private schools. Check college website for details https://profileonline.collegeboard.com/index.jsp • Review Student Aid Report (SAR) from each school you have been admitted.
