  4. In order to understand visualization- students must understand seen text and unseen text Seen text: Everything you see on a page: words, diagrams, pictures, and features Unseen text: draws upon your background knowledge and experiences

  5. Overall, Visualizing is creating an image in your mind about what you are reading or what is being read to you, based of prior/background knowledge.
