The Art of Skinjacking Skinjacking is a special art all on its own. Because those who skinjack, are not really dead. Other skinjackers have said that they were not accepted in the light so they end up in Everlost As presented by Allie the outcast, her parents told a her ,while she was skinjacking, that she was only in a coma.
Memory Flux Memory Flux, as I have named it, is what happens to all in Everlost, for the exception of Mikey McGill. When you are in Everlost, you tend to forget who you are, and you become what you think. For example, if you have a big afro and you can’t stop thinking about it, it might weigh 20lb in a week.
The Art of ecto-ripping (as presented by Zach the Ripper) No one really knows how to ecto-rip, but we do know how Zack the ripper, a.k.a Zinnia a.k.a Zin, can do it. She cared so much about her family when she died, that she grabbed some of the light and tried to go back, which is how she ended up in Everlost. When she got there, the hand that had the light could make a hole in the living world and she could take stuff from it.
The state of afterlights Afterlights are the residents of Everlost. They have a faint glow that may sometimes change color according to mood. Afterlights do not need to eat, sleep, and when they are injured, they feel no pain heal immediately. A group of afterlights would be a vapor, and a very, very large group of afterlights would be called a cumulus.
