Camii Kebir • Camii Kebir, known also as Ulu Cami (Great Mosque), is the first mosque built after the conquest of Kayseri by Turks. Melik Mehmet Gazi, from Danişmendoğulları, had it built between 1134 and 1142. It was repaired during Seljuk and Ottoman periods. Its minaret was built with bricks like the one on Ulu Mosque in Sivas and the one on Alaatin Mosque in Konya. It is one of the tallest minarets in Turkey.
Hunat Hatun Complex • Mahperi Hatun, wife of Aleaddin Keykubat I, had it made in 1238, which consist of a mosque, a medresse, a bath and tomb.
Kurşunlu Mosque • This mosque, built by Mimar Sinan in 1574, got its name from the dome covered with lead. It is known among people as Mimar Sinan mosque because of its architect ture.
Vizier Caravansaray • Damat İbrahim Pasha (Ottoman Vizier) had this inn built in 1727, which is near Ulu Mosque.
Atatürk’s House • Atatürk stayed in this house for 3 nights when he first visited Kayseri in 1919, which was built by Raşit Ağa towards the end of the 19th century.
Talas Mansions and Villas • Talas, with its fresh air and vineyards as well as villas and mansions, as always been an area of summer houses. Therefore, it is possible to see nice old and new buildings all together.
