28. How many types of air movers does XPOWER offer?  XPOWER offers a complete line of air movers to cover all drying requirements. From 1/4 HP to 1 HP, we have the Series 400, the Series 600 and the Series 800 air movers with a total of 18 models to choose from. Why does XPOWER use P or X in the model names? P and X stand for different materials used to make the housings; P is for polypropylene or abbreviated as PP, and X is for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene or abbreviated as ABS. Both Polypropylene and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene are XPOWER's preferred housing materials. How does XPOWER make its housing?  XPOWER uses an injection molding method. Compared to conventional Rotomoldinginjection molding is much faster and produces a more precise and uniform product.

29. What are the differences between Series 400, 600 and 800?  The main difference among XPOWER’s Series 400, 600 and 800 is the power output, which controls the air flow level. XPOWER’s Series 400 offers 1/4 HP, while the Series 600 offers 1/3 HP and 1/2 HP. The Series 800 produces the strongest air flow in its category, offering either 3/4 HP or 1 HP. Each Series is designed for various markets that have diverse air flow requirements.

30. What market is suitable for the Series 400?  The Series 400 is a convenient tool for drying small areas by JanSan professional users as well as in the home and garage. P-400 and X-400 are the quietest models in XPOWER’s product line. With a low decibel level the Series 400 models can remain unobtrusive when noise level is an issue.

31. What market is suitable for the Series 600?  There are five types of 600 models: P-600, X-600, X-600A, P-630 and X-630. The 600 models are 1/3 HP, while 630 models are 1/2 HP. The Series 600 produces stronger air flows than the Series 400 and can be used by professionals in water damage restoration and janitorial industries. The X-600A also has a unique daisy chain feature that allows you to plug multiple units (up to 3 units on a 15 amp circuit) together in sequence to dry large areas in less time. This feature is commonly used in water damage restoration industry.

32. What market is suitable for the Series 800?  The Series 800 produces the strongest air flow in its category, starting from 3/4 HP for the 800 model to 1 HP for the 830 model. It is the optimal drying machine capable of drying large area in minimum period of time; and with the handle and wheel option, the unit can be easily moved around the job site with “no carrying involved”.

Why does XPOWER offer a Handle and Wheel Kit option?  The Handle and Wheel Kit is offered for the Series 800 models. It allows users to carry more supplies together with the air blower, and also makes moving around the job site effortless.

34. What is a daisy chain and how is it being used?  A daisy chain is a wiring scheme in which multiple devices are plugged together in sequence. Our X-600A model can be daisy chained for up to 3 units on one 15 amp circuit. For optimal safety, the machine also comes with an on board ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) that will trip the circuit when an overload occurs.

PROPERTY AND USAGE OF ABS ABS's light weight and ability to be injection molded and extruded make it useful in manufacturing products such as drain-waste-vent (DWV) pipe systems, musical instruments (recorder and plastic clarinets), golf club heads (due to its good shock absorbance), automotive trim components, automotive bumper bars, enclosures for electrical and electronic assemblies, protective headgear, whitewater canoes, buffer edging for furniture and joinery panels, luggage and protective carrying cases, small kitchen appliances, and toys, including Lego bricks. ABS plastic ground down to an average diameter of less than 1 micrometer is used as the colorant in some tattoo inks. Tattoo inks that use ABS are extremely vivid. This vividness is the most obvious indicator that the ink contains ABS, as tattoo inks rarely list their ingredients.

An addition polymer made from the monomer propylene, it is rugged and unusually resistant to many chemical solvents, bases and acids.
