The Team • About 50 Booz Allen employees from across the US and around the world • many states, Australia, Germany, France, UK, Brazil, etc. • Merges WCB, WTB and Corporate • Lowest level through Principals and Partner • All competing together as a team against other companies in relay and team-related track & field events • Builds corporate camaraderie and team spirit • Raises funds for charity

The Event • The National Corporate Track & Field Competition is held annually in the July-August timeframe • It is hosted by the United States Corporate Athletics Association (USCAA) • USCAA is a nationwide non-profit organization • It promotes health and fitness, teamwork, and the spirit of competition among corporate employees by sponsoring corporate athletic events • It encourages teams to use the national championships to raise funds for charities • The USCAA Relays began in 1978 in California as a challenge between local companies

Charity • For the last ten years, Booz Allen Track Team has raised funds for charity • 1995 – 1997: Special Olympics International • 1998 – 1999: Make-A-Wish Foundation • 2000: Children’s National Medical Center • 2001 – 2004: American Diabetes Association • International team members raise funds for a similar charity in their country • The BAH National Track & Field Team raised nearly $10,000 for charity each year • In addition, the USCAA sponsors a Special Olympics relay and a Corporate Kids run

Event Locations • 28th annual USCAA Relays will be held in San Ramon, CA on July 23-24, 2005 • Previous corporate track & field championships have been held throughout the country: • Berkeley, CA • Palo Alto, CA • San Jose, CA • Los Angeles, CA • Boston, MA • Des Moines, IA • Boulder, CO • Sacramento, CA • Santa Barbara, CA • Irvine, CA • Waterville, ME • La Jolla, CA • Los Gatos, CA • San Ramon, CA • Renton, WA • Seattle, WA

Divisions • Booz Allen participates in Division 2 against Texas Instruments, Unum Provident and others • Booz Allen has always finished first, second or third! • Division breakdown: • Division 1 is for companies with over 50,000 employees • General Electric, Lockheed Martin, ExxonMobil, IBM, AT&T, Lucent, Boeing, etc. • Division 2: 10,000 to 50,000 employees • Booz Allen, Texas Instruments, Unum, Microsoft, Qwest, Pacific*Bell, Principal Financial, USWest, Oracle, etc. • Division 3: Up to 10,000 employees • Aerospace, Sempra, Ruan, SCVAL, LG&E, etc.

  7. Age and Gender • All events are relay or team-oriented • Track relays, track team races, road races, and field events • There are no individual scoring events. You are part of a team at every level • The running events are set up to encourage teams to recruit athletes of all age and ability levels and to promote athleticism at all levels in the company • Specific age, gender, and executive-level requirements exist • Road races (5K and 10K) are scored by age group • In the field events, points are awarded based on the current American records at that age and gender

Benefits • Good, clean, competitive fun! • Improved health, fitness, and energy levels • Corporate goodwill is disseminated to the public and to our fellow employees • These events provide an opportunity to network across Booz Allen as well as other companies • Booz Allen covers major expenses (flight, hotel, etc.) • USCAA-hosted P-A-R-T-Y on Sunday night

How Do I Sign-Up? • Global BAH Track email in spring • Go to the BAH Track Team website: • http://bah-clubs.xservices.com/track/index.html • Click on the up-coming year • Click “Interested in joining the team?” • No obligation to compete • Then What? • Gradually get in shape and let us know how you are doing by submitting times/distances online through the team website. • The team is picked about one month before the competition
