Project: Development of Sustainable Healthcare Infrastructure in Gujarat Overview Country: India (Gujarat) Year: 1996 - 2004 Size: € 45.000.000,- Client: Regional Government of Gujarat Financed by: Dutch Goverment (ORET-loan) Description The improvement of intermediate level medical services in the state of Gujarat. The project provided assistance for: (1) Maternity & Child Health; (2) Traumatology; (3) Nephrology and Virology. Among others it encompassed equipping 65 health institutes (36 community health centres; 23 district hospitals; 6 referral centres and 6 Mobile Ophtalmology units). Project: Ghana District Hospital Winneba Overview Country: Ghana Year: 2009 - 2010 Client: MoH Ghana Financed by: ORET-loan (Dutch Programme) Description 120 bed District Hospital with trauma and emergency care, approximately 20.000 treatments annually. Hospital with an energy efficient design, up to 50% savings in energy resources. Training around 200 people, varying from nurse to hospital management. Project:Rehabilitation of the Critical Areas of Hospitals of the NHS Overview Country: Ecuador Year: 2008 - 2013 Size: $37 million Client: MoH Ecuador Financed by: ORET loan (Dutch Government) Description The project includes equipping 8 selected hospitals The project has been designed in close cooperation with the task force for health reform within the Ministry of Health of Ecuador, MODERSA (World Bank project, in conjunction with the II Social Development Project - Health and Nutrition (FASBASE Project - Ln. 3510-EC)) Consortium:

Project: Development of Sustainable Healthcare Infrastructure in Bangladesh Overview Country: Bangladesh Year: 2005 - ongoing Client: Diabetes Association of Bangladesh Financed by: ORET loan (Dutch Government) Description Formation of a countrywide network of 21 hospitals and health centres. Construction and renovation of 1 University Teaching Hospital, 4 (sub) Regional Hospitals; 18 University Health Centres; and 4 Peripheral Health Centres.
