How dose it reproduce? (Spread) It will reproduce by seed or undergroumd stems.
DANGER DANGER DANGER DANGER DANGER DANGER If burned and the smoke if breathed in, rash could appear on the top of your lungs and it could be permanent.
Some of the symptoms are Rash Iching Burning Redness Blisters will also appear. Most of the symptoms will appear after 24 to 48 hours.
Reactions that are more serious are: headaches, fever and big blisters.
Urushoil oils can be the cause sever of skin reactions. It will mostly happen in spring and summer when the plant is growing.
All of the parts of the poison ivy can be irritating. Such as... stem, leaf, pollen ect...
One of the things you can do if you were exposed to poison ivy is put some of the jewelweed juice on your skin or do it before going somewhere that has poison ivy

If you have been contaminated by poison ivy and you do not have jewelweed. Take off the clothes that have been in touch with the plant and wash it with strong soap. Be careful to put something to cover your hand so that they are not contaminated.
This poisonous plant can be found everywhere except in Newfoundland.
You could find it on borders of the woods, roadsides and clearings. You could also find it on rocky, stony or sandy shores.
This plant is in the same family as the mango tree and the cashew nut.
Animals can not have the symptoms we have from the poison ivy.
