Genre • The genre we have chosen is DRAMA. • We chose this because it opens up the door to many different aspects of short film that we can be creative with. • We also found it a powerful genre to keep the audiences full attention throughout which is what we aim to do with our 5 minute short film.
Target Audience • We have chosen to place the film in the category of an 18. • We find that this way we can portray the drama and impact of the film with greater detail and with nothing holding us back.
Plot • A boy is playing on his own outside and finds a briefcase on the floor and picks it up. • Two well dressed men are looking for the briefcase after this in the same spot and it is gone. • When they drive away the they pass the boy on the road with the briefcase. • They take it from the boy and drive off. • When they look in the briefcase there is nothing in it. • The boy then takes off his rucksack and the audience find out that he has taken the unknown item from the briefcase and put it into his bag.
