LED daytime Running Lamps plus keyless entry and ignition complete the list of standard features on the base model. With all that delivered the L trim is anything but basic. LS makes things like an 8-way power driver's seat with power lumbar control available, or the chrome and cargo packages, All-Wheel Drive, or a rear-seat infotainment system available. All of which can't be fitted on the L trim. The LT trim With the LT trim level, buyers will experience a significant jump in quality. It includes every feature of the L trim, to which it adds High-Intensity Discharge Lamps, the power driver's seat with lumbar control that's only optional on the LS trim and unavailable on the base model, a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen, and a three-month SiriusXM trial subscription period. The best feature of the LT trim, though, is that it adds the option for a superior engine to be fitted on your Equinox. If the 1.5-liter base engine is good, the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 upgrade is even better. Producing a whopping 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, and coupled with a responsive 9-speed automatic, it makes for a delightful experience to drive on the open road or inside the city limits. The Premier trim The Premier sits at the top of the range and adds perks like a hands-free power liftgate, the 360-degree parking camera, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, auto dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic moonroof.
