Senior Year Events & Expenses
SENIOR YEAR EVENTS • Individual Senior Photos – Information Coming Soon • Class Meeting with Jostens – October time frame Order Cap & Gown, Announcements, etc. • Senior Panoramic Photo taken early 2nd semester (Jan). • Prom – March (Tentative) • Grad Bash – April (Tentative) • Senior Boards – April 2020

Parent Sponsored Events: • Baccalaureate – Non-denominational service usually held on a Sunday prior to the graduation ceremony. It is a voluntary event that is not school sponsored. • Senior Picnic – The day of Graduation Practice on Edgewood campus. • Project Graduation – All night party held on graduation night designed to be a safe, drug and alcohol free celebration. It is organized and sponsored by parents.

BRIGHT FUTURES • Apply October 2020 • Three Categories – Current Requirements • Academic Scholar – 3.5 GPA, 1290 SAT or 29 ACT and 100 Hours Community Service • Medallion Scholar – 3.0 GPA, 1170 SAT or 26 ACT Scores 75 Hours Community Service • Gold Seal Scholar – 3.0 GPA in different courses, lower Test Scores, 3 years in Vocational Program (TV Productions). RESEARCH AND PLAN • Edgewood school counselors will assist you and your student with college and scholarship questions concerning applications. • Responsibility to meet deadlines and criteria belongs to student and parents. • Research and planning should begin now for best results!
SENIOR PROJECT The Senior Project is part of the contract signed by each student and his/her parents for attendance at Edgewood. It is required in order to graduate with a Diploma of Distinction.

Senior Projects, Senior Year Projects may not be completed during the summer prior to your senior year. Instead, • Research projects of interest • Develop a plan of action • Contact potential advisors • Email your project coordinator • Start those college essays
