Aim This experiment to know the electrical conduktivity of fruit and vegetables
Materials • Fruit or vegetable (grapefruit, lemon,orange, • and radish, etc) • Coppers and zinc plates • voltmeter • Conducing wire • Clips • sandpapers
Procedur • The part inserted in fruits of the copper and • the zinc plate is sandpapered • Two incisions to insert the copper and the zinc plate in the fruit are put. • The copper and the zinc plate are inserted in the fruit. Two fruit or more connect in series because the battery power isweak in one fruit • The voltmeter connects to the conducting wire. It connects reversely, in the voltmeter needle does not move • the electric power strengthens if two fruit electric cell or more connect in series
Answer the following questions Question 1. Fruit that has the highest conductivity ? Answer : tomatoes Question 2. Fruit that has the bottommost ? Answer : pear and apple Question 3. Why vegetable and fruit can deliver an electric current ? Answer : because fruit and vegetable contain ions
Conclussion Fruits and vegetables can deliver an electric current, because in the fruits and vegetables have ions
