August • August 1 • -FOX replaced former director of “Something’s Got to Give”, George Cukor, with Jean Negulesco Marilyn’s ecstatic because she directed her in “How to Marry a Millionaire” which was a hit • -FOX signed new contract with her, giving her a $250,000/picture salary-twice her current salary • August 3 • -Had dinner with personal publicist, Pat Newcomb, and Peter Lawford in Beverly Hills • August 4 • -Had a six-hour sessions with Dr. Greenson
