What is a Democratic School ? Currently 22 Democratic Schools in Israel. Each school is unique, but all share the common vision of raising our children to be active and responsible members of the community.
Our School is Unique: We are the first and only school that brings together children of diverse religious backgrounds in a democratic environment.
Existing secular-religious schools: Type 1: These schools have 2 communities – secular and religious. A student belongs to only one of the communities. Students must study classes according to the community to which they belong. Type 2: These schools have a set program and class schedule which is typically a compromise between that of a religious school and that of a secular school.
