Who Jesus Associated With 1 - Jesus calls Levi, the custom’s agent (a type of tax collector) to follow him 2 - At dinner at Levi’s house the Jewish authorities chastise Jesus for hanging out with sinners 3 - Jesus replies: “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.” 4 - People wondered why Jesus followers did not fast like the Pharisees.
