Introduction Google this website http://recycled-fashion-project.wikispaces.com/ This project requires you to work as a class to create a website that contains information on trends, shop profiles, customer opinion, product analysis and environmental issues. To do this the class is to be spilt into 4 groups, each with different aims. Within these groups each of you will have an individual role. It is important that you read the job descriptions and come to a descision as a group, who will be best to complete each role. If one person does not fulfil their role, not only the group but also the class will be effected. Decide on who you want to work with bearing in mind that this project has been designed to allow young adults to learn skills that are required in a work environment.

1 Annotation and Referencing It is your role to annotate the 3 moodboards that your team mates are creating. This means that you need to check what they are doing and research the key trends that they are using. You will then use this information to add labels and notes to the moodboards. Include the following: Why is this a trend? What are the key colours and shapes? Who is following the trend? How could your class use this information to inspire their own designs? 4 Aesthetics • Investigating what customers need and want in a product is called Market Research. • It is your role to find out what customers want their product to look like. To do this you will need to create a questionnaire that is designed to find out exactly what customers want or need. • Your questionnaire should include the following: • Colour • Size • Shape • Style • To do this you may need to speak to the classmates who are working on Product Analysis. When your questionnaire is complete you need to – Get answers from your class mates to build up your market research. Then pass these results to the Results Analyser in your team.

4 Environmental Issues Investigating what customers need and want in a product is calledMarket Research. To do this follow the below steps. Research what factors there are on the environment and the textile workers (website below will help.) Create an easy questionnaire that will let you find out what people think about these issues. Ask other students to answer the questionnaire. Record results and pass to you team Results Analyser.
4 Results Analysis • Investigating what customers need and want in a product is called Market Research. • It is your role to interpret the results of the market research into a way that all your class can easily read the results and use the information to help them with their own designs. • To do this you must decide how to display the results in a graph. • Pie Chart • Bar Graph • Line Graph • You MUST use ICT so whilst you are awaiting the results to be delivered you must find and prepare how you are going to make these graphs. • Possible ways are through the following programmes: • Powerpoint • Excel • Word • If you need extra assistance, ask your teacher or another member of your group.

Conclusion When you have all completed your individual sections you then need to bring all your teams work together and as a team lead by your editor, decide on what you want your part of the webpage to look like. This should all then be inputted into one word document. As a group you will now show the rest of the class the work that you have done. The Editors will then work as a group to puplish the classes work on the webpage. All other team members will complete the evaluation and review section.
