The new Jeep Gladiator makes its European debut at Camp Jeep. Produced in Toledo, Ohio, the new Jeep Gladiator is offered in three different trim levels: Sport, Overland, and Rubicon. It will reach dealerships in the Middle East in the first half of 2020 and in Europe at the end of next year. The new Jeep Gladiator features a robust and distinctive design that is instantly recognizable by traditional Jeep design details. The Jeep design team has kept the Wrangler's legendary seven-slot grille, but has widened the slots to bring in more air and help increase towing capacity. The arched top of the grille slopes gently to improve aerodynamics. The Gladiator Overland and Rubicon models feature Jeep Gladiator JT led headlights and fog lights that cast crisp white light, adding to the modern look of the Gladiator. At the rear, the traditional square taillights feature optional LED lighting and allow a wide tailgate opening for easy loading into the box. The tailgate is damped and capable of stopping in three positions, while cargo is easily secured with a power-locking tailgate. Smart functionality and versatility have come to the fore in designing the Gladiator's rugged case. Under-side panel lighting, an optional covered external power supply (230V), and rugged built-in fasteners offer durability and versatility. The optional Trail Rail Cargo Management System offers additional
storage possibilities to organize and secure cargo. Options like spray-applied box liner, spacer and box lid provide even more options to keep cargo secure, as well as improve durability. Gladiator Rubicon models are equipped with a protective cab and cargo bed footpegs. A four-bolt design at the top of the windshield frame allows the windshield to fold quickly and easily.A bar at the top connects the A-pillars and stays in place even when the windshield is folded. This allows the rear view mirror to remain in place as well when folding the windshield. The lightweight, high-strength aluminum doors feature Torx bit size indication directly on the hinge, eliminating doubts about which bit is needed to remove the doors. The tool kit with the Torx bits required to remove the doors and lower the windshield is provided as standard equipment. The new Jeep Gladiator range of engines offers the proven 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine (available only in markets outside of Europe, including the Middle East) and a new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 engine, which will be the only option for engine to be offered in Europe.
