There are also small populations in Pakistan, India, Indochina, Malaysia and China. They used to be found across Asia and Africa, but they have since become extinct in many countries. They are thought to be extinct in Northern Africa. In the wild, leopards live in grasslands, woodlands and in forests beside rivers

This usually occurs when a leopard is sick and can’t find regular prey. • Leopards are carnivores and they eat a variety of animals. Or lions and tigers will kill them if they feel threatened. • Also large water buffalo can kill a smaller leopards. Other animals such as alligators and snakes will stick to the cubs.

So then they can protect them and their food! • They also use their energy to be able to run fast enough to catch their prey. Scientists say that they can run up to 36miles per hour. • And they also use their energy to climb up trees, and jump out of trees onto their prey.

  6. They find prey by hiding in trees and in tall grass. And using stealth to stalk them. They also us the night to help blend in. • They make a lot of noise. The only predators to them are humans and they just use stealth, hiding in grass or branches. Or very occasionally they will just attack the human.
