  3. Dublin Castle & Kilmainham Gaol Das Dublin Castle wurde unzählige Male umgebaut und erweitert, sodass es sich im Laufe der Jahrhunderte sehr verändert hat. Hinter dem Schloss liegen die Dubh Linn Gardens. Im 1796 eröffneten Gefängnis Kilmainham Gaol wurden schon Schauplatz etlicher Filme. Nach der Schließung 1924, eröffneten Republikanische Veteranen es in Eigeninitiative wieder und machten aus dem Bau ein Museum. Sights of Dublin Philipp Plaukovits, Felix Schuller – 7B

  4. St. Patrick‘s Kathedrale & General Post Office Die St. Patrick's Kathedrale ist die größte Kirche in Irland. Renoviert wurde sie unter anderem von der Guinness Familie – daran erinnert auch eine Büste vor dem Gebäude. Eines der wichtigsten Monumente Irlands ist die General Post Office: Sie zählt zu den wichtigsten Gebäuden der Geschichte des irischen Kampfes um Unabhängigkeit.   5. Spire of Dublin & Temple Bar Die 120 Meter hohe Spire of Dublin steht mitten auf dem berühmtesten Boulevard des alten Dublins, der O’ConnellStreet, fast genau vor der General Post Office. Am Fuß ist die Spireof Dublin 3 Meter breit, oben an der Spitze beträgt ihr Durchmesser nur noch ca. 15 cm. Die Temple Bar, ein Viertel Dublins, beherbergt unter anderem viele irische Kultur-Institutionen. Nach Anbruch der Dunkelheit findet hier der Hauptteil von Dublins Nachtleben statt.
