  2. Abstract • The objective of our project is to design a home that will be energy efficient. The home should save users money over time and reduce the carbon footprint of those living inside it. The system is designed to learn the energy consumption habits of its users and develop over time.

  3. Summary of our purpose • Modern homes are inefficient and waste energy, this leads to hefty costs for the environment and for the people living within these homes. • We have developed an effective computer system to be integrated into homes that increases energy efficiency and offers simple accessibility and a friendly user interface via touch screen pads.

  4. Hardware Our Design offers a multitude of different devices which can be interconnected in the spirit of an “internet of things.” Our system is based on communication between many household utilities via Wi-Fi connection.

  9. Conclusion Our design offers users with a completely smart home design. It incorporates smart devices and Machine to machine communication to offer full control over every aspect of the modern home. Our autonomous computer system offers the convenience of a smart home while maximizing energy efficiency. We hope that this proposal will benefit consumers by promoting energy conversation/ efficiency in the long term.
