Banská Štiavnica • Banská Štiavnica is one of the most strikingly beautiful and historically interesting towns in Slovakia. In December 1993 it was inscribed on theList of World Cultural and Natural Heritage of UNESCO, thus receiving a great international recognition. The inscription includes the town’s historical centre plus the technological monuments in its surroundings.
Domica cave • Domica Cave is the most known and longest cave of the Slovak Karst National Park. Located on the south-western edge of the Silická Plateau in the Slovak Karst National Park, close to the state border with Hungary. Cave entrance is on the southern foothill of Domica Hill at elevation of 339 m.
Bardejov • It was for the preservation of its heritage that in 1986 Bardejov was awarded the European prize - Gold Medal – by the International Board of Trustees in Hamburg. Bardejov became the holder of this award as the first town in the CSFR.
Ochtinska aragonitová cave • Is a specific phenomenon also from the world caves perspective, which attracts every visitor by its variability, wealth and beauty of aragonite fill. It is located on the northern slope of the Hrádok Hill in the Slovak Ore Mountains on the road between Štídnik and Jelšava, 26 km from Rožnava. It is the only one of its kind in Europe and stands out by aragonite fills of various forms.
Spiss castle • With its area of 41 426 m2 it is at the same time one of the largest castles in the Central Europe. The Spiš castle has a wonderful location and its architecture is worth of your time and effort.
Gombasecká cave • Volunteer cavers from Rožňava, organized in the Slovak Speleological Society, discovered the cave in 1951. The length of accessible part is 285 m. It is situated on the western foothill of the Silická Plateau in the Slovak Karst National Park. Cave entrance is located 11 m above the Black Resurgence at elevation of 250 m above the sea.

Jasovská cave • Jasovská Cave is located in the Medzev Upland in the western part of the Košice Basin. The cave became the first show cave in Slovakia in 1846, however the upper parts had been known as early as the 13th century and the inscription from 1452, which records the victory of Ján Jiskra’s from Brandýs military force, represents the oldest written mention in Slovak caves.
Dobšinská ice cave • Dobšinská ice cave belongs among the most important ice caves in the world. Since 2000 it is inscribed on the world heritage list. he cave is located on the south-western edge of the Slovak Paradise National Park in the Spiš-Gemer karst. Opening to the cave called “ice hole” was known since long time ago.
