There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.”

8. The sin not unto death 1 Thessalonians 5:4-5 “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness.” Ephesians 5:8-12

10. 1. He hates sin. Psalm 101:3-4 “I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not fasten its grip on me. A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil.” Psalm 119:104 “From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.”

11. 1. He hates sin. Job 1:1 “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” Romans 7:14-20 The apostle Paul struggled with sin, but his committing sin was contrary to what he wanted to do in his life.

For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer.  I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD; and You forgave the guilt of my sin.  Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found.”
