Misty of Chincoteague • The genre of Misty of Chincoteague is realistic fiction. The setting took place at a small Island called Chincoteague. There was also at a fair, a farm, and up in the mountains. The characters were Grandpa Beebe, and Paul, an Muree, and the Fire chief. The plot is when they see that the horse was sold. Then the guy that waned to buy it didn’t want it any more. My option is that it was sad because they spent all their time finding this horse then let it go.
San Domingo • The genre of my book is western. The setting is in the present time. The characters are peter lundy, the mom, the dad, the grandma, the brother Adam, San Domingo, and the horses mom. Peter Lundy finds an old letter in an old chest of his mother. He read the letter and took it the wrong way. He wants to run away. Then a doctor gave him a rare Indian Horse. In the end his dad sold the horse ,but he got another horse. It was a weird book because they talked all western. It was hard to understand and follow so I didn’t really like it.
Stormy Misty’s Foal • The genre is realistic fiction. The setting is on Chincoteague Island. The characters are Paul, Maureen, Grandma, and Grandpa Beebe. The plot is Misty is having a foal and there is a big storm coming. After the storm there were tons of dead horses and other animals. After the storm they have to take Misty to the vet so she can have her foal. The conclusion is there was fundraiser for Chincocotegue for the horse parade they lost a lot of horses because of the huge storm, and they need money to buy horses. The fundraiser was a success and they raised tons of money. I like this book ,but there were lots of sad parts , but this is a cool book.
