  5. Mimi’s Hideaway is a charming “true log” cabin located in the heart of Cherry Log just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay. This 1.5 bath cabin sits approximately 40 feet from beautiful Bear Lake which can be enjoyed from the covered front porch, and has a creek on the back side which is easily viewed and heard from the screened porch. The home owner has gone to great lengths to make sure you will enjoy your stay! Mimi’s Hideaway is only 300 yards from the Benton MacKaye hiking trail which connects to the Appalachian Trail. There is a 32" flat screen TV in the living room, and a 19 inch flat screen with built in DVD player in the loft for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and microwave. All of our cabins include linens, dishes, pots, pans, towels, washcloths, etc... We will provide an initial supply of guest soaps, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and trash bags. Firewood is provided seasonally for this cabin.
