  1. Magnetic Separators

  2. Grate Magnets Grate Magnets are easy to install and clean. They offer efficient, economical magnetic protection of processing equipment, such as milling, extruding, and mixing while improving product purity.

  3. Plate Magnets Plate Magnets are used in gravity-fed angled chutes. Single Step and Double Step Plate Magnets are designed to remove tramp metal from your product and eliminate the possibility of wash-off back into the product stream. Stainless steel pole areas maximize the holding power of the magnets. These Plate Magnets are easily installed and are supplied complete with sanitary hinges, latches, and mounting hardware. The strong magnetic field is effective in product streams up to 8” deep.

  4. Drawer Magnets MPI helps you achieve your food safety plan and minimize the risk of a product recall by providing best practice knowhow and equipment to detect and remove metal contaminants. MPI’s magnetic drawers are engineered to provide maximum separation of metal contaminants ranging from fine ferrous particles to large pieces of tramp iron, in a variety of processing products including powders, granular and liquid materials. MPI designs a full range of manual clean, quick-clean,  self-clean, automated self-clean and continuous flow self-cleaning magnetic drawer separation equipment to meet today’s high standards of product quality.

  5. Chute Magnets • Chute Magnets capture ferrous tramp metal in heavy product flows that would otherwise bridge or choke if filtered through magnetic tubes. Chute Magnets are also well suited for abrasive products that would quickly wear through the thinner walls of tubes. Ceramic and rare earth designs with exclusive hybrid available for industry’s highest magnet performance. • Exclusive Sani-TIGHT Seal gasket design eliminates leaks and reduces gasket replacement. • Single step optimizes tramp metal collection and prevents wash-off.

  6. Free-Flow Magnets • MPI’s exclusive Free-Flow Cylinder Magnets are designed to capture both large and small tramp metal from high-volume, abrasive, vertical gravity-fed product streams such as grain and mining products. The FFC-QC Series magnets provide maximum ferrous tramp metal retention in product streams where “wash-off” is of concern.

  7. Magnetic Rotary Feeder MPI’S design increases the life of your rolls by evenly distributing contaminant-free feed into your mill! MPI’s Magnetic Rotary Feeder (MRF) is designed to protect and control feeding characteristics of free-flowing materials above hammer mills into processing equipment. MRFs provide a continuous uniform flow of product, increasing processing machinery productivity. The integral permanent plate magnet protects processing equipment from damage caused by ferrous tramp metal. Product feed rates can be regulated with a standard constant speed or an optional variable speed drive system.
