  4. Ultriva Virtual Kanban Agenda • Virtual Kanban and Virtual Kanban 2.0 • Prerequisites, configuration, and a demo • We will have a few short surveys and will give you the results

  5. Virtual Kanban – How it works ERP sends the On Hand inventory for designated parts to Ultriva Ultriva compares the ERP inventory value with the inventory value of the On Hand cards then releases cards to the supplier accordingly

  6. Virtual Kanban – Version 2.0 - How it works • Released with Ultriva version 7.7 P7 • Has additional logic that will create a ghost card for the remaining inventory so it matches with ERP: • If the Reorder point is set to OpenBoxor is percentage based, then the card gets released to the supplier and a ghost card (0 cycle card) gets created with the remaining quantity. ** **The card gets destroyed when the remaining units are consumed.

  7. Virtual Kanban – Benefits • Reducing non-value add work • No scanning required • Improved replenishment accuracy • No chance of missed scan or lost card

  8. Virtual Kanban – When would you use it • High level of confidence • Inventory accuracy in ERP • BOM maintenance and accuracy • Availability of inventory data • Integration • File to upload on a regular basis
