  1. Knowledge Train and charity during coronavirus By Simon Buehring on 13 Jul 2020 Ever since Knowledge Train started offering project management training in 2005, we have always worked in accordance with the values upon which the company was founded. Those principles we believe help us maintain ethical and positive interactions with our customers and community. We have the utmost respect for our customers and staff. We also believe it is our duty to aid those less fortunate and donate a portion of our earning to charitable organizations on a regular basis. With that in mind, we have selected several key UK charities to support as the services they provide help those worst affected by the coronavirus. Knowledge Train charity efforts The outbreak of corona virus in the UK has had major impact on our lives but none more so than the poor and vulnerable such as the homeless, elderly and victims of domestic abuse. Those with underlying health conditions and seniors have been asked to self-isolate which charities have warned could worsen the UK’s loneliness epidemic.

  2. While the response of the UK government has been challenging, UK charities are struggling to provide aid to everyone who needs it in this difficult time. From organizations who help those with mental health issues to those that provide essential toiletries, passionate and dedicated charity workers are doing their best to ensure the safety and wellbeing of UK citizens that the UK government is not helping. Arguably some of the most vital work being carried out is done by the many foodbanks operating across the UK. Organizations such as the Trussel Trust operate vital services across London and the UK. They have established a wide network of food banks and together provide emergency food and support to people in poverty with the aim of ending the need for food banks in the UK. We have focused our recent charitable efforts on those services that benefit victims of coronavirus and those indirectly affected and ask that you do the same. If you’d like to do your part, here’s a list of charity organizations that you can support to help prevent the spread of coronavirus and aid those in need. Looking to the future It’s hard to determine when (if ever) coronavirus will be completely eradicated in the UK. Here at Knowledge Train, we’ll continue to do our best to help those around us. We will, of course, continue to donate to charity and ask that others who can afford to, do the same. If you’d like to give us feedback on how we might improve our services please contact us.
