Union Crossing:Community Planning Process • All-volunteer Committee helped to shape the project’s design and development • LCW members were involved in architect selection, site visits, project design, advocacy, and outreach to local residents and businesses • More than twenty charrettes and committee meetings were held from January 2008 to October 2010 • Community needs and priorities created a mandate for the Union Crossing Master Plan, Vision, and Objectives Union Crossing architect Bruce Coldham with LCW members at the January 19, 2008 community meeting
Union Crossing Vision & Goals Union Crossing is the next building block in the revitalization of the Reviviendo Gateway District and the City of Lawrence.
