Self-Reporting • Shows integrity and honesty -- AND -- • Shows that what happened was likely a mistake that you’re willing to learn from, rather than a repeated behavior.
SPECIFICITY OF CHARGES • Warden • Deputy Director • Personnel • Attorney General ALL of these entities must agree that the punishment fits the crime before a sentence is imposed.
How Appealing Are You? • ALL employee disciplinary actions are subject to employee appeal. • All employee disciplinary packets will have directions on how to file your appeal • Your appeal MUST be postmarked no later than 10 working days on the day after your service.
