According to the study of private company Bloomberg, legalizing marijuana in United State could bring as much as $120 Billion a year, though realistically fall closer to $35 billion to $45 billion. The taxes that the government will earn will fall to $25 billion or more. Compared to tobacco and cigarette industries it`s generates $17 billion federal tax revenue. Based on the study on November 2009 Standards and Poor`s industry report the tobacco and cigarette industries generated $263 billion combined sales. Since its illegal in America, American firms are partnering with the local Canadian resident who is certified in producing medical marijuana products and once that the Congress approved the legalization of marijuana they can bring it to the United State. The majority of the Americans have favored the legalization of marijuana product; in fact the support of legalizing pot has been increased by 10% putting pressure to the government to legalize it.
