Work History Front Desk Representative, Sales Bally Total Fitness – San Jose, CA /August ’09 to Present Responsibilities included: Answering phones, cashiert, open and close gym Check memberships to make sure people had access to the gym. If the sales counselors weren’t available I would sell memberships Internship NBC Bay Area- San Jose, Ca/ September 09 to March 2010 Responsibilities included: I was positioned at the assignment desk in the beginning where I learned how to use the stations technology such as positioning satellites in the control room. Reporters call the station and I would answer any of their questions. I also shadowed reporters on their stories and was their assistant. Front Desk Representative 24 Hour Fitness– San Jose, CA / September07-April 08 Responsibilities included: Assisted club members. I handled bill payments and sold products and retail. I also handled the cashier.

Volunteer Work Producer for Newstory Equal Time, KICU, Channel 36 – San Jose, CA February 2010 and May 2010 Responsibilities included: Volunteered to help my professor with her Public Affairs Show, Equal Time. I set up interviews for a show about School Uniforms. I also volunteered to make sure guests were comfortable when we filmed three shows in one day. Radio Television Digital News Association: Public Relations Officer-September 09- present Responsibilities included: Organize fundraisers and events for the club such as making fliers and posters; tabling. Also volunteered at the RTDNA Awards Dinner by taking pictures and decorating the dining room. Also helped sell raffle tickets. Varsity Basketball Stat Keeper Don Lugo High School –Chino, CA January ’05 to January 06 Responsibilities included: Travel with team and kept a roster players actions during a game.   6. Experience Journalism I have experience in editing, writing and shooting my own news packages. I am familiar with Final Cut Express and Imovie. I have wrote stories and some have been shown on CNN. I am currently and anchor/reporter for Update News, Channel 36. Where I have gained experience in being in a newsroom. At my internship I was exposed to a real newsroom and learned how to use the technology that is being used today such as inews and Oasis which is used to feed clips back and forth to different news stations.
