INTRODUCTION OBJECTIVES We try to find out if transparency of information on CSR is becoming an essential issue within the accountability of universities and if, because of this, universities are taking advantage of new technologies to improve such information transparency We examine whether the issues of CSR are being used by universities as an element of differentiation in a competitive environment (as public-private university).
