  2. Where should I start? Decide which sport and/or team you want to form The bedroom around.

  3. Now what? Once you’ve decided your sport an/or team to focus on, think about ways to incorporate your personal style or the style of the person your designing the room for, e.g. how old is the child, if they are very young you may want to stay fun sporty, if they are a teenager or young adult you may want a little more sophistication.

  4. What design elements can I include? You can be as literal as you want with the sports theme, i.e. use items with the teams logo and colors You can be abstract, e.g. only using the team colors and not logos or use elements that remind you of the team, e.g. If Steelers are your inspiration use stainless steel accents.

  5. What design elements can I include? You can do the entire room if you wish, e.g. window coverings, wall borders, beddingetc. You can do just small “pops” of the sports theme, e.g. use your accessories to tie in the theme, e.g. decorative mini helmet display or hanging a framed banner on the wall, or decorative toss pillows on the bed

  6. Additional design ideas Go retro! Utilize retro elements like a throwback helmet to display or framed historical banners and pennants to give the room a cool retro feel.
