Typewriter OR Word processor The biggest obstacle using a typewriter for a professional was changing the typewriter ribbon When using a typewriter if a mistake was made you would have to type it again or use correcting fluid If an error is made when word processing the typist can move to the error and correct the mistake

Word processors have a lot more features… TEXT EFFECTS PICTURES Colours Word Processer • Add pictures • Change text effects • Spell check • Delete text • Move text around the page • Save text electronically in a digital format • Compared to a typewriter it is a lot easier to create a document using a word processor.
