What is marketing? Share some examples of marketing that you see on a daily basis? Think about who, what, why, when, where, and theme. Be prepared to share and discuss in a couple of minutes.
My example…. Who: concerned drivers, people who want quality tires What: Bridgestone Tires Why: Accidents happen, slick roads are a fact of life, issues arise and you need good tires Theme: animals and humor. They have used this similar theme throughout super bowl ads. Using animals that are seen on the road frequently and playing on people’s fondness of animals as well as humor.
Let’s look at some examples…. • AT & T’s creative marketing campaign It is wicked cool!
Why did you buy? • Think of a good or service you have bought or was bought for you. • Why did you buy it? Where did you buy it? How did you buy it? How did you know about it? • Why is marketing so prevalent in our society?
