  2. About Us Murrays Pharmacy is a leading award winning community pharmacy group and healthcare provider with pharmacies across the UK, mainly in community and health centre locations. We employ over 230 staff across 25 pharmacy locations, including specialist mobility aid centres.

Our Services We’ve launched a range of innovative and affordable services aimed at improving community health, such as Healthy Living Pharmacy, NHS Health Check, Blood Pressure Monitoring and Dosettes, Weight Management, Alcohol Screening Services, Smoking Cessation, Mobility Aids, Flu Vaccinations and Travel Medicines/Advice.

  4. Murrays Health Tools We have provided links to a number of useful health information tools, as result of frequently requested information. The tools are supplied by NHS Choices.

  5. Weight Management We may be able to help you via our ‘Counter Weight’ Management programme,. Our trained staff will take you through a 12 month programme, which is tailored to your individual needs to address weight loss, with the aim of you achieving a 10% weight loss.

  6. New Medicines Service Twice in the first 28 days of you beginning your new medicine, we will contact you by telephone (or you can come into the pharmacy) to have a quick chat about how you are doing with your medicine. We will check that you are not suffering any ill-effects.

  7. Minor Ailments Service This service is offered by all the pharmacies listed and allows patients presenting with symptoms of minor ailments to access appropriate medication from a list of products. If you do not normally pay prescription charges, you will be eligible to receive these products free of charge.

  8. Travel Clinic Vaccinations Our trained pharmacist will: Undertake a brief consultation to find out where you are travelling to and determine what vaccinations and other medication you will need, Check your vaccination history, Advise you on the required vaccinations and anti-malarials.
