  1. Estancia Rincon de los Leones is one of the marquee properties in southern Patagonia.

  2. The ranch consists of two parcels which comprise 12,522 hectares including 7 km of Frio Chubut riverfront. There are two magnificent homes of over 6,000 sqft each which have recently been built on the property. A brand new luxury top of the mountains with a terrace overlooking the canyons. Outdoor Jacuzzi, two car covered garage and storage room, totaling 560 m2. Outstanding views overlooking the valley and river. In the valley there two other barns over 100 m2, two small warehouses of 50 m2, a 150 m2 guest house renovated in 2005 with three bedrooms, an employee house of 100m2 and a new 400 m2 riverfront house under construction.

  3. The estancia features plains, valleys, canyons and mountains, the mountain range is over 1,000 m in height, the private canyon is 15 km long with walls of 500 m. The new bridge at the entry to the property in front of PiedraParada is 250 m long and was just made by the province of Chubut at a cost of 2,300,000 pesos. The micro climate makes the area 5 to 7 degrees warmer that the Andes front range, including Bariloche and Esquel rainfall of 300 mm mostly in the winter, 300 days of sun per year, dry weather, warm days and cool nights. Mild winter without much snow in the valley. Native grasslands in the valley and mountain range, mainly Alamo, with some willows and pine trees, old fruit trees in the valley around the secondary houses mainly apples, pears, grapes and olivers. Corral for horses.

Irrigation is by a main 7 km x 250 km of secondary and tertiary canals which gives the property roughly 1,000 hectares of free irrigation by gravity and more can be irrigated with pressure pumps. Electricity is powered by generator and batteries accumulations, Australian tank of 35,000 liters, 5,000 liter gasoil tank, full perimeter fencing of the three properties with three main gates, internet and phone via private satellite. Wild game includes, guanaco, hare, partridge, puma, foxes, giant squirrel, armadillo, ostrich, ibis, geese and duck and numerous other small birds.

  5. The property is suitable for cattle farming which can sustain 5,000 sheep and 700 cattle, tourism, a world class fly fishing for wild trout, rafting, horseback climbing and trekking. Spa, great dry climate and nature. Canyons unique in Patagonia and the world. The soil is great for grains, vegetables, fine fruit and wine, two of the neighbors produce grapes, primarily pinot noir.
