Frederick Douglass Garden of Stars - Cultivating Community, Initiative & Growth Opportunities

Dive into the Frederick Douglass Garden of Stars! Starting out in the summer of 2012, with new possibilities and opportunities; now it's yours to nurture. School gardens offer a platform for learning teamwork, setting goals, engaging families, and fostering dedication, persistence, and healthy pride. Volunteers working together with community and families create a vibrant garden space where everyone contributes and benefits. In summer 2014, there are more chances to get involved: become a parent assistant, join the garden committee, or engage in new projects like native plant gardens, compost bins, outdoor growing beds, bird feeders, and more. Be creative and share your ideas in this dynamic and collaborative environment. Happy and engaged students lead to happy teachers and parents – join us in cultivating growth and connection in the Frederick Douglass Garden of Stars!
