<br>The name Anchorage Inn was chosen to convey a place where many different people from many different places, cultures and backgrounds could all come together in harmony. That diversity makes it a better and more interesting place to stay. To this end Anchorage Inn offers a full range of accommodation options from Deluxe rooms to Super Deluxe Rooms.<br>Anchorage Inn is run by Hinterland Seamen Union(CITU) for the welfare scheme of the seamens.This union was constituted in the year 1972 and has seamen as its office bearers and members which is prime requirement. At present the union is having 150 members as sea farers. It has been affiliated to Centre of Indian Trade Union(CITU), New Delhi and registered under Trade Union Act 1926. The basic activity of the union is to look after the welfare of its members and to work in their interest. As per the by laws the union members contribute subscription/donation in prescribed manner. Subscription is mandatory and donation is during receipt of any arrears. The union is functioning under the watchful eyes of CITU which has unblemished name in the Trade Union field. The Trade Union is for the welfare of seamen and has its own by laws vide which they are at liberty to invest their donations and subscription for the welfare of its members.<br> <br>
