  3. Why is this person famous? My person is famous because he is an artist. He paints many things like a portrait of his wife Rita. He really did that. He loved art that he became an art teacher.

  4. Is this person still living? If yes, what are they doing now? If no, when did they die? Thomas Hart Benton died January 19’ 1975. The place where he was buried is in Martha’s Garden.

  5. Fact #1 Thomas Hart Benton taught at the Art Students League of New York from 1926 to 1935.And at the Kansas City Art Institute from 1935 to 1941.

  6. Fact #2 Thomas Hart Benton was one of the first two United States senators elected from Missouri.

  7. Fact #3 In 1932 Thomas Hart Benton also painted the arts life in America. A set of large murals for an early of the Whitney museum of America.
