  1. The most popular variant of rummy in India is the 13-card game variant which is generally played between 2 to 6 players with 2 decks of cards including 2 Jokers. The primary objective of the player is to make a valid declaration by picking and discarding cards among the two piles. Basically, one pile is an open deck and another one is a closed deck. In an open deck, cards are visible to the player and it is formed by the cards which are discarded by the player at the time of playing. The players can pick cards from both. HOW TO PLAY INDIAN RUMMY A toss is conducted at the start of the game, where the cards are dealt on a random basis to all the players on the table. If you use two or more cards of the same suit then it is considered an invalid set. How to form sequences? A sequence is a combination of three or more successive cards of the same suit. A sequence is of two types: pure sequence and impure sequence. To win a game of online Rummy, a player is required to form at least 2 sequences with one compulsorily a pure sequence.
